Emily Bett Rickards, born on the 24th of July of 1991, in Canada. She is an Canadian actor best famous for her character Felicity Smoak on The CW TV series Arrow. Rickards was born within British Columbia, is Canadian. From a young age, she was able to discover her passion for acting by engaging in dance and musical theatre. Her career path began early after she completed from high school and attended the Vancouver Film School. There, she completed the Acting Essentials course. After completing the program and attending an open call audition that led to her being offered an agent. She studied at The Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver. Originally signed as a one-episode guest star, her chemistry with the show's main character Stephen Amell coupled with positive fan reaction as well as her humorous quips resulted in her first signing to be a regular co-star for the remainder of the initial season.
